Tua Halomoan Marbun - Process Engineer at CTCI Corporation. Tua Halomoan Marbun, commonly known as Moan, is currently working as a Process Engineer at CTCI Corporation, a leading EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) company in Taiwan. CTCI Corporation, headquartered in Taipei, is a multinational company with branches across the globe, including Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, China, the USA, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Italy, and many more. Moan has been in this position for nearly two years, currently involved in his first project at CPC Corporation—often referred to as "Taiwan's Pertamina"—with a focus on utility generation projects. His main responsibilities include the water system generation area, which encompasses steam and condensate systems, cooling water systems, demineralized water systems, industrial water systems, and tempered water systems. In his role, Moan designs various equipment such as pumps, drums, storage tanks, pipe sizing, and pressure safety valves (PSVs), as well as preparing utility summaries. His expertise and dedication ensure the smooth execution of these systems, making significant contributions to the project. Moan graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Universitas Malikussaleh in 2019. He is also highly proficient in using engineering software such as Hysys, Fusion, and Plant 3D. Moan finds his job both rewarding and well-aligned with his academic background.
